Transfer from Fukuoka to Hakata port and take the planned ferry service to Iki. Begin with island food, then consider a shochu distillery visit and the history around the Ikikoku Museum and Harunotsuji ruins. Stay on Iki.
Day 2
Explore shrines and coastal viewpoints by private car, selecting visits around local access rules and the tide at Kojima Shrine. A boat outing around Tatsunoshima or a charter from Katsumoto is an option if operations and conditions allow.
Day 3
Take the confirmed sailing from Iki to Izuhara on Tsushima. Explore the old town around Banshoin, the Kaneishi Castle remains and the stone walls of former residences. A temple-based copying-of-sutras experience can be discussed with a host.
Day 4
Travel north for coastal viewpoints and a proposed visit to the Tsushima Wildlife Conservation Center. Return towards the views of Asō Bay from Eboshidake, choosing stops to fit the day’s substantial road journey.
Day 5
Discuss a private cruise or sea kayak on Asō Bay, with any local fishing-culture visit arranged in advance. Continue to Tsushima airport for the planned flight back to Fukuoka.
Fly into Tsushima and finish on Iki, checking the final sea connection and an overnight buffer in Fukuoka.
Replace a boat activity with museums, a distillery visit, a temple experience or time at the accommodation, subject to opening and host availability.
Discuss an optional visit connected with fishing or aquaculture, with the host and guiding arrangements checked first.
A few more starting points, each with its own rhythm.
